Is Windows based on Debian?

In my .bashrc gvim is the EDITOR and I want to keep it that way, but editing a task shows an empty text file. Changing the .bashrc with nano as editor, to test, does show the task-info. So how can I get gvim to show this info instead?

I’ve looked at many chicken & dumplings recipes today just to see variations. I have my own recipe already I just wanted to compare and you are the only one who uses chopped carrots like I do! I have always added carrots to my mine. The others seemed naked or unfinished without carrots!! I was waiting for my husband to come back from the store with chicken thighs, but he’s worse than a teenage girl. He yap’s with his friends so much I don’t think we’ll eat until 9pm tonight. Then he asks did I make a cake while I was waiting. My temper got the best of me since I have a good one so he’s hiding now! Lol my 2 Pomeranian girls are hiding with him! Lol actually their my doorbell . I made him chop the celery and carrots. I had already done the onions and then he ran for his garage! Chicken!! Actually I was checking for others dumplings recipes since I’m bored with mine. I dare him to says something. He likes to nit pick at my cooking . After 43 years you would think he’d be smarter, but maybe tonight he’ll keep his pearly whites shut except when eating! He’s already in the pot cooking with the chicken!!

Stop worrying about the exact amounts of veggies. Or even the chicken. If you want a lot of chicken, add it. If you want more potatoes than carrots add more potatoes and less carrots. If you don't like onions....don't add them. Nothing really has to be an exact measurement. I know that kind of "logic" is hard for anyone who follows recipes exactly.
